Staff

Patricia M. Freedman, J.D. is the Executive Director. She has over 30 years experience advocating for the rights of people with disabilities. Pat has written materials on a range of disability issues for attorneys and families, and she conducts workshops and seminars for families and professionals on a range of disability law issues.  She holds an MA from the University of Michigan and J.D. from Northeastern University.           S    

 Sally Miller, LICSW is a Service Coordinator and Supervisor.  She is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker and a member of the Academy of Certified Social Workers with over 30 years experience working with the disabled.  She has extensive knowledge of the elderly nursing home population and has provided consultation to skilled nursing facilities and hospitals.  Throughout her career Sally has supervised social workers and students in various capacities and educated nursing home staff.  She earned her Masters Degree from Boston University School of Social Work.  

 Ellen Richwine, LSW is a Service Coordinator.  She is a Licensed Social Worker with more than 20 years experience working with the disabled and elderly population.  Her extensive experience includes work in assisted living centers, hospitals and skilled nursing facilities.  In addition, Ellen has served as a Geriatric Case Manager providing support and assistance to elders living in the community.  She is a graduate of Northeastern University. 

Michelle Cahoon is a Service Coordinator.  She holds a BSW from Bridgewater State College and a Masters degree in Intercultural Relations from Lesley University.  She has 12 years experience working with children, disabled adults and the elderly population.  Michelle is a returned Peace Corps volunteer, having served 2 years in The Gambia, West Africa.  Michelle has a passion for working with individuals of diverse cultural backgrounds.  She plans to obtain her LSW in the upcoming months. 

Amanda Fallon is the Administrative Assistant.  Her attention to detail and desire to help those in need inevitably led her to the field of non-profit administration.  She has experience working with a variety of individuals including the disabled population.  Upon earning her Bachelor's Degree, Amanda spent a year as an AmeriCorps*VISTA Volunteer in Cambridge, MA, where she worked with an organization devoted to those affected by HIV/AIDS.  She plans to pursue her Master's Degree in Non-Profit Administration or a similar field.  She holds a BA from Boston College.
